Monthly Activities :

8pm - 1am : 2nd & 4th Friday : The Engine Shed

York Road, Wetherby (turn left 200 metres after bridge over A1)

•   8pm - 9pm Improver class (usually taught by Alfredo & Christine)

•   9pm-10pm Free dancing to easy-pace grooves, usually DJ'd by Alfredo.

• 10pm - 1am Free dancing to medium & fast pace grooves, usually DJ'd by   Caballero playing a wide range of Salsa party music. Check-out the 'Caballero' button, on the left, for a musical profile.

• Occasional silly line dances for fun, led by Alfredo & Christine.

• The evening costs £5 per person inclusive

The Engine Shed was once exactly that! Much of the original building remains, including the huge arched doors through which engines were brought for cleaning and maintenance.

It is now, quite simply, one of the Region's best venues, and is purpose built for dancing (the owner is a long-time jive fanatic). It has a large, polished wooden floor, cubicle bench seating with tables to the side, a stage at one end, and a bar at the other with further tables and chairs. An imaginative balcony bar, overlooking the floor, is close to completion on the first floor.
