Intermediates

Level 3 : INTERMEDIATES : approx 9 months to 2 years

Intermediates learn: to increase the range, and complexity, of their ‘moves’; to develop longer combinations and routines; to start and finish a dance well; to increase the fun by using a few simple ‘dips & tricks’ safely; to introduce footwork variations (‘shines’); and to dance with more personal style. Men increase their use of turns and spins & ladies start to take on double spins

Am I ready to move-up? Can you say ‘Yes’ to the following statements?

I’ve been dancing the equivalent of one lesson a week for about 2 years. I’ve covered most of the syllabus above. I’m hardly ever on the wrong foot; and rarely find the music too fast. I feel that I’ve really started to develop my own style.
