Salsa classes & Club Night every Tuesday, 7.45-11.30pm, in the club Function Room. This is York's original Salsa Club! Tony & Mary, and Alfredo & Christine, teach three levels simultaneously 8.15-9.15pm with music, dancing, buffet, & fun interludes at all other times. The fully inclusive cost is £6 per person. Cuban and Cross-Body styles are both taught, and to the normal, 'On-1', beat count. Click the 'about Salsa York' button at the top of this page for further information. 2nd & 4th Fridays: Top Club Nights in one of the North's best venues: with guest teachers; Djs; shows; & occasional live music.
Next event: Friday 12th February 2010: Cuban-style partnerwork classes & La Rueda show Miguel Valentino was to have been our guest but is recovering from a serious fall off a ladder. He's OK but not yet fit to dance. We are delighted that his place can be taken by Manchester's Les & Lorraine 'Mancuban'. The class is Cuban-style partner work. There's also a La Rueda show from Sheffield's Rod Lawson & his Amigos de La Rueda.

The only weekend congress in the Northeast usually happens on the 1st weekend after New Year. It is a truly Regional event featuring 50 varied workshops taught by a host of top Regional couples; 2 parties, both with shows & live music. Attracting over 500 dancers from clubs across the North, it's brilliant 'local club' atmosphere is unique.

Thanks for your visit.......Make it a 'Refreshing' one This site changes daily. Make sure you are looking at the most recent pages. Your computer stores web-pages, to make access faster if you re-visit them... but the pages stored may have changed, and need 'refreshing'! You can 'set' your 'Explorer' to 'refresh' automatically. automatic refreshing instructions In your Explorer, above, you can click View and then Refresh, or simply click the icon, above, which looks like a page with two green arrows on it.
Better practice is to have Explorer do this for you
automatically: Click
Tools, above; click Internet Options at the
bottom of the drop-down menu; make sure you are looking
at the General tab; in the middle of the card,
under 'Temporary Internet files', click Settings;
under 'check for newer versions of stored pages', click
the button in front of 'Every visit to the page'.
Click 'OK'... Bingo!.....now you will always be 'Refreshed'!
